We all know the economy is in an interesting place right now. Ok, that was a bit of an understatement. Unemployment has soared in Oregon, businesses are closing and people are losing their homes. It is not fun. But, there is something you can do. Go to your financial institution and see what services or advice they can provide. In times like these, we need to use every crayon in the box to protect our finances.
For instance, I happen to know that at Northwest Community Credit Union, there is a program that is FREE to members. It’s called Balance, and it offers a variety of services to help people with their financial struggles.
Balance offers all sorts of financial counseling. If you want to learn how to manage your debt, Balance can help. Want to buy a house? They can help you make a plan. And, did I mention it’s free? Free is my favorite word. Well, I think coffee is actually my most favorite word, but free is definitely up there.
