Want to de-clutter your life? There's a pretty easy way to get on that path of the clutterless. It’s called taking advantage of e-statements.

What are e-statements? They are a magical little woodland creatures that… ok, they’re not magical, nor are they woodland creatures. They are a way to reduce the paper clutter in your life and receiving your banking statements electronically. Just think, less mail in your mailbox to open, sort and shred. You can verify your transactions all in one location (a secure website) any time, any place. You can get them for your monthly checking account statement, credit card or other loan statements, etc. Usually, the financial institution sends you an email letting you know your statement is available for viewing. Of course, please do make sure to actually view them.
The E could stand for a few different things:
Excellent. Convenient way to track your account.
Efficient. See excellent.
Environmentally friendly. No paper, no need to shred.
Exciting. Who doesn’t like being able to balance their account at their convenience?
Extraordinary. Why be ordinary and get more mail sent to your house when you get an easy squeezy email notification?
After
Couple this with online bill pay and you really do have magic (even if it isn’t woodland creatures magic). The combo is even more magic than this.
