Pumpkin Carving Made Simple

It’s the time of year that stresses me out more than Christmas.  It’s Halloween which means I have ONE shot to carve up a pumpkin masterpiece.  You can always decorate and redecorate the tree but that pumpkin is a one shot deal.  You make one bad move and there’s no going back.  This year I decided to do some homework to make sure my pumpkin isn’t the saddest one on the block.

Here are a list of websites that offer FREE pumpkin carving stencils!

pumpkin and house decor ideas as well

Easy cutouts for kids

And this one is my FAVORITE!

OK so now you’ve carved your pumpkin…what are you going to do with all those seeds?  Roast them!

Here are 3 amazing recipes from sweet to spicy seeds!

And to get you in the Halloween spirit here’s a quick video from It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown!

I love watching people creatively carve pumpkins, but I am art challenged. So, I will not be partaking of the carving ritual. I will be enjoying the Great Pumpkin/Charlie Brown action, and thanks for sharing a clip of that!

Jen,

thanks so much for the short cuts to finding stencils for kids.

I too am challanged in the area of creativity.

So you can bet I will feel really good when I am able to help my almost four year old create and cut out his pumpkim.

Thanks again
