Last Saturday the great city of Albany, Oregon held their first ever annual Mid-Valley Brew Fest and we were lucky enough to get to be there. There were 21 different brewers present from Ninkasi to Deschutes offering samples and full glasses of their traditional and seasonal beers. There was also wine, food, music and entertainment all against a sea of orange and black shirts representing their beloved Oregon State Beavers. That’s So Northwest and Northwest Community Credit Union were there bike-blending up our version of a “delicious and nutritious” wine smoothie (wine and bananas…who knew?) that was a huge success!
It was a very fun event for us to be a part of and the more than 1700 people who attended seemed to agree! I am definitely looking forward to next year's Brew Fest and am more than curious to see what bike blended concoction we come up with by then…
